Objectives of the Placement Cell 

The Placement and Training Cell of Govt. Polytechnic College, Nedumangad  work with the following objectives. 

• Conducting various training programmes, seminars, group discussions, and mock interviews as a part of career guidance and personality development.
• Guiding students for placement in various organizations.
• Acting as an information centre for students in job opportunities.

The career development process includes self-awareness, career exploration and job placement. In order to realize this process, the Training and Placement Office would perform the following activities. Campus Placement drive will be promoted by the cell for appropriate placement in Industries and Research/ Academic Institutes.  
State Placement Cell

The placement and Training Cell of GPTC Nedumangad is working under the State Placement Cell of Department of Technical Education, Government of Kerala. There are four regions under the State Placement Cell, Kerala. Our college is working under the south region. Sri. Venugopal. R, Lecturer in Electronics Engineering, GPTC Palakkad  is the State Placement Officer and Mrs. Deepthi Devakaran, Lecturer in Computer Engineering Govt. Women’s Polytechnic College Thiruvananthapuram  is the Regional Coordinator of south Region. 
Placement Cell GPTC Nedumanagd

The placement and Training cell of GPTC Nedumangad coordinated all the placement activities under the guidance of our principal Smt. Manjusha T T. A committee is constituted in the academic year 2025-26  to coordinate all the placement and training activities through the entire  academic year.

The placement cell organized various drives, training programs for students during the period from june 2025 to May 2026. A total of 45 placements got to our students in 10 different companies through placement cell. Students have participated around 15 company’s drives. The companies conducted their drives through both online and offline mode. State placement cell organized all the placement cell activities. Highest CTC offer got this year  is 8 LPA.
